About 5 months ago I was diagnosed with Diabetes and it has truly changed everything about my life. Not just how I eat and exercise but also how I LIVE. Being a person who can't stand to just sit around, and with the help and encouragement of my best
wouldbedorothy, I am participating in Raliegh's Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes! If you have a moment, please stop by my personal donation page and read why I'm doing this. If you can, please give. A $5 dollar donation makes a world of difference.
Thanks guys!

Date: 2014-12-24 07:47 pm (UTC)As a fellow diabetic, I know how that diagnosis can alter your life. There really is a 'before' and an 'after'. Kudos to you, for doing something so positive (although, unfortunately I was unable to donate, as the link no longer leads to your personal page).
Hope you are doing well, and just wanted to pass on something I was told when my new life-reality was about to overwhelm me:
"This illness, however chronic it may be; it is something you HAVE, not something you ARE.
Wishing you all the best!
