I think I may need a whole new laptop. My current one is being stoopid. And slow. And freezing up. And it crashed once already. Blue screen makes me sadpanda. Which is exactly what happened the last time it broke down and then I had to take it to the GeekSquad (thank god I had warranty) and they gave it back to me suffering from amnesia. *sigh*

I mean, I have my little netbook but that's for travel and I can't use it for EVERYTHING. NO MORE WARRANTY LEFT. I can't afford a new computer for real. *grumbles*

So, the fics that I am working on (and I have ALOT, one of which is the first Kradam I've ever attempted at writing) are, like, in dire straits here. (There's that pesky writer's block as well) Backing everything up tonight. JUST. IN. CASE.

In other news, I'm teaching myself how to play the guitar.

I use my netbook for EVERYTHING. My real computer crashed last May (I think?) and I never bothered to replace it. I have a new laptop at work that I bring home on occasion, but more the most part, my netbook gets the job done.

But ack! Sorry about your laptop. I hope it stops blue screening on you. :( No losing Kat words! Yay for backup! I think Google docs isn't bad though I tend to just save my fics in progress as a draft in email.

Also, guitar! :D It's so much fun. I hope you enjoy it. Is it acoustic or electric or...?

I feel your pain had to take my laptop to the geek squad the day after christmas, because some ass face decided to give me a virus on christmas- what type of shit is that. If it wasn't for my mother having a back up thingy I don't even know what you call it- but she saved the day cause some stuff was saved, But after the geek squad got though with it, it was competly empty and everything had to be installed again, thank god for my Mother cause I'm computer retarted. She installed everything while I sat in a chair crying and watching her.

On a lighter note I think it's cool you're learning too play the guitar. :D

Ugh, sorry about your computer issues. Mine pretty much stopped working last summer for a while. I hope you are able to back all your files up.
