It was this pattern that Brian had to surround himself with strong women (even if they didn't like him ala Mel) in some way trying to undo the damage his weak, cold mother did. Cynthia was totally one of the strongest. I love her and Justin. And you'll love them even more soon. *lol*
Vic and Brian's relationship not being explored was a shame. It seemed to me that Vic understood Brian pretty well and didn't judge him.
People forget but Mel pretty much rocks. Despite not liking Brian, she did almost defend him when he needed it. Hell, I might have liked her more than Lindz at times.
