I really love Gus in these stories. His characterization is beautiful, and I love the different facets of his personality you can attribute to each of his four parents.

>>“The fiddler? I thought his name was Ian.”

Honestly, I have the most fun writing Gus. He almost feels like an original character to me. He really got alot of good traits (and even some of the bad) traits from his parents.

This line cracked me up. Because of course everyone knows who the fiddler is, even Gus, but that he believes his name is Ian made me laugh so hard. And I loved Alex's story about Justin's reaction to hearing him on the radio, too.

I had to add that line cause I could imagine Gus growing up hearing refereces to "the fiddler" and just being curious and finding out about it lol. I can't imagine Justin wouldn't simply shake his head and wonder what the hell he was thinking lol...

It sounds about right, too, that it takes this long for Brian and Justin to actually DEAL with that whole time in their lives, because they tend to move past things without actually talking about them.

This story is so much fun, and I can't wait for the last part.

Absolutely. It was what we were talking about with your story last night. Communication between them is for shit sometimes. And they don't like facing things cause they have to talk about them and go through it all over again and too much a hassle....argh lol. Some things I'm sure they hashed out, this is not one of them.

And others are unspoken but Gus has a point...they need to addressed.

Next part I think is kinda fun and sort of does that. Thanks so much fore reading hon!!!
