Not sure what exactly made me write but I really loved how it turned out. Know the feeling. Sometimes I write a line and look at it thinking 'Huh, where the hell did that came from? It's not half bad.' lol
Because of his childhood and probably life in general I think Brian learned early on how to just stuff everything he felt, every hurt, every pain into boxes. Not really inspected them often. I think that's how he learned to survive. It's very sad in my head. Exactly. It's like a pattern, a bad habit hard to shake off, since he managed to perfect the system over the years. Beyond sad ... Luckily there is Justin to shake him up.
He couldn't help it lol. I mean his grown up but still...lol. Well ... all-grown-up!Brian ... where is the fun in that. ;-)

It's funny, I have this idea for a while now for a ficlet about the patented Brian behavior you described, but not quite the time to write at the moment. But one never knows when the muse strikes.
