So, when the BigBang prompts were released, this was the summary that I most wanted to see fleshed out. And goodness, just based on this prologue, this is not just fleshing out, this is building an entire universe of emotions and motivations.
Wow. I don't even know what say. :D I think there was no other way to really do this story without sort of making it into this HUGE universe. Otherwise, I don't think I could have done the subject much justice. I'm glad it works!
You make me resent the show for the missed opportunities with Holden's temporary death. You showed here what drama and conflict can arise from tragedy and the depth of two people's feelings for each other. I love that there isn't a third party; that this isn't about questioning feelings but about questionable decisions and actions.
This show makes me resent a lot. I get that. They miss so much potential story. *sigh*
This prologue sets things up brilliantly. Luke's descent into hell is so painful and realistic. And Noah! Sigh, helpless but trying so hard. *Heart swells and breaks at the same time.
