It really was word vomit for Mel. She was mad. It slipped out. At least, she called Brian to warn him.

And poor Gus... he's 14 years old, dealing with his mother's death, and coming out of this incredibly deep depression...his reaction is pretty understandable.

So I forgive him for being an asshole. LOL.
