i'm glad that you enjoy writing gus because this is FABULUOS! so many things to love but i need to name a few:

the entire scene and every line of dialogue at the diner with auntie am and uncle teddy! especially - "even had Cynthia running for the hills." (lol)

and then the conversation with deb and the subject of ethan -
"I asked him who that was, and he told me it was someone that made him do something stupid once.”

(i like that justin owns up to that mistake and admits it to gus)

gus using a brian kinney tactic -
“Okay, Dad, listen.” I glance at him and ask, “Are you listening?”

He smirks at me and nods. “I’m listening.”

work him alex, work him!! -
“We’re family, Daddy. What happens to one of us, happens to all of us.”

"Alex can be quite the perceptive little co-conspirator."

you topped it off with a reference to julia roberts...so much fun!
