Because I cannot even understand how awesome you are.

You know what I love the most about this video? It's that the message is aimed to those of us standing in the sidelines, watching the bullying and the low self-worth happening to others and it urges US to make a difference for THEM. LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT.

This video makes me all just --- asfdljhasjlflajshflahsdlfjh!!

To celebrate, have yourself some pretty Kris:

[personal profile] keie3, all I have to say is that I love you long time and forever for finding this.

Also, there's a petition. Just go. Read. But don't sign it or anything! It requires home address and I find this sketchy. I just thought it was funny is all, LOL.

I have no words.
freakykat: (nukekiss)
I FINALLY JUST FINISHED CHAPTER SEX (YES, THAT'S WHAT I'M CALLING IT!!) OF Untouched!!!!!

::drops dead::

Also - because it deserves it's very own special post:

Sesame Street: Operatic Orange

THIS IS SRSLY ONE OF MY VERY FAVORITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
freakykat: (bbfeet)
I decided to post two VERY CLASSIC skit for tonight.

The first is one of the best known Kermit songs.

Kermit (as performed by Jim Henson) sings It's Not Easy Being Green. )

"It's not easy being green or red or yellow or gold."

:)

This one is actually the original 1969 version in honor of the 40 awesome years.

Big Bird (as performed by Carroll Spinney) sings ABC-DEF-GHI-JKLMN-OPQR-STUVWYZ )

HEE!
freakykat: (jimandco)
So, weekend kicked my ass and I got behind but here we go!

Joey makes a comeback!

Joey and Kermit (as performed by Jim Henson) sing ABC's )

"Cookie Monster!"

LOL.

Twelve and Pinball Machine (song performed by The Pointer Sisters)! )
"TWELVE!"

Going along with that theme...

The Labybug's Picnic (performed by Bud Luckey) )

"At the Ladybug Picnic!"

Sesame Street News Flash!: Little Miz Muffett with Kermit (performed by Jim Henson), Miss Muffett (performed by Jerry Nelson) and Spider (performed by Frank Oz)! )

"Spider? Is that spider going to show up again? What a drag!"

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
freakykat: (totesout)
HEE!

Cookie Monster (performed by Frank Oz) sings C is for Cookie. )

"Cookie cookie cookie starts with C".
freakykat: (jimkermit)
OH EM GEE.

This is so late.

EEEEEE. I loved when they did these. Hee. This one is my favorite!

Monsterpiece Theater - The 39 Stairs featuring Cookie Monster and Grover (as performed by Frank Oz). )

"Are you out of your mind?!"

::giggles::
freakykat: (bbfeet)
So, I had no electricity yesterday. AT ALL. From like 2:30 pm until 5 this morning. ::sigh:: Twas not fun.

I missed the finale of Alice cause electricity makes the big box with the colors and sounds work. ::madface:: I'll have to wait until Sunday to watch since that's when its being shown again. (Bonus: Tinman is being shown to so that's something)

Also means I missed Nostalgia posts so two today.

Sadly, I'm not super happy Kat right now what with the ending of the awesome show that is ATWT so no real comments. Two really awesome musical numbers. :[

The Count (as performed by Jerry Nelson) singing Batty Bat. )

Cab Calloway sings Hi De Ho Man for Horn and Hardart (or Two-Headed Monster as performed by Richard Hunt and Jerry Nelson). )

::smiles a little::
freakykat: (kermissy)
SUPER GROVER!!!!!!!!

He was such a sweet superhero, not too bright but really sweet. Hee! Super Grover (as played by Frank Oz) tries to help a lost little girl (as played by Jerry Nelson) get home. Jerry Nelson also did the annoucer voice.

Super Grover - Telephone Booth: )

"What are you doing?"

"I'm taking you home"

"You´╗┐ dont even know where I live!"

"Well where do you live?!"

"At home!"

Ahahahahahahaha!
freakykat: (jimandco)
Hahahahaha!

Get down with your bad self, Bert!

I love this song and this skit. It's the original that aired in 1973. Bert is so awesome, srsly. I always enjoy when you get to see the full body versions of the characters! :)

Doin' The Pigeon performed by Bert (as played by Frank Oz)! )

"See the one with feathers. Right behind...oh, you didn't see him. That was Bernie. He's really a character. I tell you."

::snorts and giggles::
freakykat: (yaykermie)
::claps happily::

First one with Kermie!!!!!!!!!!

Don Music and Kermit always cracked me up! This one is awesome. I always thought it was sad that Don Music was taken out of Sesame Street in the late 80's. :(

Don Music (as played by Richard Hunt) writes Twinkle Twinkle with the help of Kermit the Frog (as played by Jim Henson)! )

"That doesn't make any sense! Stars don't eat!"

::laughing her ass off::
freakykat: (wannabnerd)
Yikes.

Super late tonight.

Okay, so here's the next video in my line up. I always enjoyed the Martians but [livejournal.com profile] wouldbedorothy managed to find my favorite one:

Martians Meet A Clock. )

Yipyipyipyipyip!!!!

Hee.
freakykat: (bbfeet)
I'm pretty exhausted, you guys, lol. AND not done yet, lol.

Anyway -

So [livejournal.com profile] wouldbedorothy and I were having one of our nightly chats while watching the awesome The Muppets: Bohemian Rhapsody. Got totally nostalgic.

Which got me to thinking about the fact that Sesame Street (which I seriously think should be required viewing for all children) turned 40 years old this year. ROCK ON PBS AND SESAME STREET WORKSHOP!

That lead to a search on YT for Classic skits and that brought me here.

For the next thirty days, I will be posting a total of 40 of my favorite Sesame Street sketches to laugh about and remember. I just thought it would be a fun thing to do, lol.

And I hope you guys enjoy it, too.

We're going to start off with a total iconic classic.

Ernie (as performed by Jim Henson) singing  )

::giggles::

I still know all the words to that song. That's nutty.
